[OTOME] Shall we date? Games Overview NTT Solmare Corp FREE TO PLAY

NTT Solmare games was the beginning to the otome mobile game line I've played along with Voltage but this post will just be on the Shall we Date Free to Play games only in an overview.

 Overall How the Games run : 
-Log in Bonus : You can be consistent and get better prizes depending how many days you log in, however it's only 7-10 days worth and it usually resets back to 1 after the set days are up. Making it only repeat what gifts are given. And if you forget to log in, it'll reset the counter. The items they give usually help you out with getting through the game easier.
-Mini Games : Most games aside from Destiny Ninja has the mini game feature that increases your "stats" which apply to checkpoints when you play through the game. It's crucial that you make sure to use up your energy everyday to keep up with the checkpoints in Shall we date? games.
-Story Passes : These are your passes everyday you can read 5 parts a day. When it's out it'll recover within hours later. It's always almost a full day for full recovery but since 1 pass is several hours it's possible to play more than 5 a day.  
-Checkpoints : You can't just read the story as leisure. Which is why I suggest it isn't bad if you want to buy the overall route for a price for some of their paid versions. (There are a few that is route limited meaning the free version has more characters... I really hope they change that someday but it's not likely.) In order to pass checkpoints to continue the story it's either x amount of items or a certain "stat" level. Sometimes you have to hoard items over time or even wait another day to pass the checkpoint. However it is doable if you do not want to pay, you just need patience.
-Bonus : Sometimes NTT Solmare will gift in game occasionally for playing more than one of their game at the same time, random events + sub stories. You have to check around for those and I will be noting a few of those I have experience with the overview.

FREE TO PLAY
Was one of the first Shall we date? games I played. I really enjoyed it for what it was back then. I still play it and I have enjoyed most of the substories they added. Especially those with CG, they however have a few substories only for people who are willing to pay which is a bit unfortunate but understandable.

Another one of their earlier games, I played this when it was with Gree. Which was very hard to pass... with Gree... gladly they released their own version and I have enjoyed it much more. For the Gree version I was after Sasuke and in the current one I am Hanzo's route. It's been enjoyable so far, hopefully I will finish his route soon to do a proper review.

I remember seeing this around back then but only playing through it now. I'm almost near the ending and I choose Alvah as the main route. He's pretty cute overall but more will come when I actually finish his route.
  
A personal favorite of mines from their games. I really liked this game and have a full review below. I want to go for another character but I did Hajime's route / bought his story for reading purposes on the paid version. Currently they have a cross over with Lost Island characters and I just finished playing through it. It was well worth the read. They just uploaded another sub story with Trick & Treat I want Hajime so badly, he's so cute haha. I would highly suggest people to pick up Mononoke Kiss if you want a good game to start off with~

I really liked Ruvel from the main three, then they added more characters... especially the one above...

Which caught me to play through his route. I am on a fence however how I feel about his route and character as a whole but I will see. I did demo Reiner a bit and he was interesting but I missed the event time so decided against trying for his scenes. (Obviously it wasn't because I saw Raug getting stabbed by him...lol...really...)
I was very interested in this title when I saw this in their buying only side. When it became free I choose to do Ray first to see how things go but I am pretty sure Ethan is more of my type of character. I love the RPG feel to this game even though it's just visual novel style haha, the mini games I wish they were real gameplay. Ray... so far is mean interesting... but will post more when I complete it. He is more than he seems though so we will see how it plays out~
This is Hiiro no Kakera 4 by idea factory. I bought a route because the way the games are structured (idea factory games) for me personally I can't really play through the free version (styled with shall we date system) without pulling my hair sadly. Knowing how their games several chapters is static till half way in, it's hard to get into it for many. However if you do only the first run, I believe you can survive it, especially if you love a certain character. I'm slightly interested for the extra stories they placed up though. I will see, I have started the free one but I am unsure if I am able to pass it, I may go through my bought route first haha.  And only look at the extra stories they added. I really wished they added the original voices from the game, it probably carry it better but I understand the localization + rights they would have to pay.

I did buy Cindo's route in the past but haven't played it yet. I was currently going through Thumbelina until they just added Gretel. I honestly really wanted to finish Thumbelina but Gretel caught my attention. I will see how I will play through it mostly because Gretel has a current event for items but seeing the deadline to finish is probably impossible unless you really hoarded items... I might change my mind haha. I did enjoy so far the way heroine and the character interacts so it's quite a plus.

I remember when this first came out, I was really excited for it but it was paid route only. Now they had a free version, I went for Ryo first. So far it's interesting however the heroine sadly is a bit lacking for who she is/and the type of situation they are in. I will review more when I finish the main route. HOWEVER

::Sub Story Spoiler/Rant Ahead::
I passed the sub story for Ryo. I just have to say I did like it... but it was really short compared to Destiny Ninja/Mononoke Kiss sub stories and it didn't have an ending CG which I wished they did. I really love her art so it was a bit saddening... Adding I understand they are in a normal life situation but... didn't really have anything happen that was special in the end? It was like point A to B to C back to A. So I guess if you want to read through it, you should but don't waste trying to rush through it (like mindlessly use items/or even buy items to go through it...), since I felt it was a bit lacking. It had it's cute moments though such as Ryo getting all pout about cooking lol... I believe if they had maybe a more lengthy ending or a CG it would have felt more worth reading.

This was released when I was at Anime Expo. It was exciting to see their booth and work in person. I was busy during summer to not be able to catch up to the new game but currently now going through Soji route. The story sets a pretty serious tone which is enjoyable and I really loved they used new backgrounds for the game. I am looking forward to finishing this one, Soji so far seems to be a person with a past... I go after those a lot don't I? ;;;

Last Comments
In all I really enjoy their games as a whole and can't wait to see what they put out next~ I just hope they will be able to provide us with more illustrations and events everyone can participate in! I also hope more paid routes come out in the paid version, I would love to read their stories without being online/playing through checkpoints again haha. I'm probably asking for a lot but at least I know they are doing their best for their games so who knows what else they may do?

[OTOME] OKKO / Arithmetic Mobile Games Overview FREE TO PLAY

I have to do this post because I feel I have gained enough knowledge from playing all the OKKO / Arithmetic titles for a while now. And honestly I haven't gotten time to catch up to all the full reviews I wanted to write for each game I've played. It's not fair the only FULL review I have is on the game I liked the least... *coughstarstrucklove* \(｀・ω・´);;

Despite that game, I have been very fond of OKKO / Arithmetic title games and they have quickly became my second favorite mobile game makers aside from NTT Solmare/Shall we Date?.

I will be listing an overview of their games below and a quick review. A full review will come eventually and I apologize it's coming slowly. It takes a very long time to write up one of those haha. ＼（Ｔ∇Ｔ）／

Overall How the Games run : 
-Log in Bonus : You can be consistent and get better prizes depending how many days you log in even if you miss a day it'll continue off where you left off on the Log in Bonus Sheet. If you pass a route, the Log in Bonus Sheet turns into a Gold one and you get more bonus items second run around.
-Mini Games : All of their games have some battle off to raise charm. Charm is for passing checkpoints + easier to get to the ending. Their friend system comes in handy to easily pass the battles. They also have "time spots" where at certain times when you play the mini game you can either have double points or 100% success, be aware of that!
-Story Passes : These are your passes everyday you can read 5 parts a day. It's a 24 hour refresh to play more than 5 a day you would nee to use story pass refills or just plainly wait for the next day.
-Checkpoints : You can't just read the story as leisure. In order to pass checkpoints to continue the story it's either x amount of items or a certain "stat" level. Sometimes you have to hoard items over time or even wait another day to pass the checkpoint. However it is doable if you do not want to pay, you just need patience.
-Dress Checkpoints : This one has it's own note because it's important to understand. In the game they require to "dress up" for a checkpoint meaning to spend the in game money you get or REAL money which are Coins you buy. You can pass the checkpoints without paying real money, if you want to see more dialogue from the said guy you are after, you have to pay coins. But it does no effect GAMEPLAY. This is very important, everything they tell you to buy is EXTRA and not NEEDED for the story. So don't feel obligated to pay if you do not wish to.
-Bonus : There are extra stories and time limited events in the game. Just check the game for updates, their social networks are usually much slower than the actual game updates on what they have.

Kamil~ It was an interesting experience, at first I was like hm he's the only one I can choose from the three, he is playful flirty type of guy but eh not my types usually... Then as I got further in the story on how much he resist his guy desires, it was so cute. He seemed different type a character at first in the beginning but I grew to like him a lot especially when you got to know him better. He did everything to protect the heroine and their love was pretty cute minus the crazy 1+2+3 in his story which will be detailed in the review lol. Oh my rage when I played... I noticed all their games always have to have some crazy jealousy bat to push the plot through. But at least this one made sense to a degree and Kamil was one heart the whole time.

Heroine was pretty unique, she had her tough times and of course the times where she was confused. But she never really got on my nerves + it was pretty hilarious to see her finally fall for Kamil.

And from my rating last time, this one indeed has censor but detailed "scenes" which makes it more mature to read. It's not a lot... mostly the ending but you can be prepare they write out the event a bit.

Sweet Scandal

The cutest Tsuntsunderedere omg. I really liked him when I first played and my first post about this game. I didn't know I'd like him this much! This story didn't have a crazy jealousy bats but they did do a little dramatic part to make the plot "serious" (；￣Д￣）gladly there was enough cuteness and good writing overall to make me ignore the sudden small pressure points in the story.

I really loved the heroine she was an older heroine (who doesn't have a boyfriend currently and Yusuke teases her) lol. He is younger than her but their chemistry made me smile all the time. And his Tsundere... he's more DERE than Tsun it made me smile. I also really liked that the heroine had such a control over herself and can say STOP when needed. I would read this story over again if I could. Honestly though, I still wonder why they haven't made sub story for him yet. vvv

They have some sexy times details but it's not often or too much. It fades out most of the time.

Bidding for Love

Probably most interesting beginning plot of the game I've played for something about "bidding" and love. Heroine got duped by work to go to the auction to pass off important documents but she ended up being sold off by the people there. The story is pretty consistent and had a pretty good plot. (which not too many mobile games have.) Iriya was just this foreign prince who was in love with her at first eye. (of course there is even more story to their bg.)  (◕‿◕✿)

Despite being a good story, it was the most mature story out of all the other games they made, it has constant sexy times + details. For Iriya he was too touchy for his own good basically after he bought her he treated her like a doll waifu lol. He really loved her though and even though the heroine wasn't sure, as a reader you can tell.

In this story there is crazy 1+2 and even 3 but it actually is a good read. Main Heroine isn't super weak but not super strong either but she had guts to a degree especially when she was pressure to let go, she didn't. I can't wait to write out all the details when I do a full review.

Another sweet Tsundere but also foreign prince... I like foreign princes I think... a lot. Haha. I need to be honest, I played a little of Alibaba first to try to not have so many foreign prince routes at the same time but noped out so fast. (゜-゜) Alibaba really wasn't my thing and going through Assad's route was more cute than I thought it would be.

He was rumored to be a dark prince who murders girls but truth he takes care of his sweet young brother by finding girls who can just read bedtime stories. Of course heroine isn't from this world so she has the best stories! + coming here she needed to grant the wish of the one who brought her here. (lol genie made her do his job)

And the plot plays out in how involved she gets with Assad but eventually has to return to her own world. Heroine is pretty strong and has a level head. I really enjoyed the development. There are no sexy times in their story. Even when they get together the whole scene is just sweet and tame. Right when I passed Assad's route they finally released Sinbad......... and I still need to go through his route since I eyed him first when I looked at this game. (/ω＼)

Honestly, I thought this game was going to be cliche "can't trust lover" and typical "dating in office" setting. I grew to like the game very much aside from the CRAZY 1+2. Seriously the makers know how to get on your nerves with these bat crazy people lol. (for some reason I don't know why I don't have the Kitazawa clear picture but whatever, spoiler best end pic <3)

Kitazawa was portrayed as a very serious business worker but tons of girls fall for him. Heroine wasn't sure if he was being serious with her or if his smooth silent tricks was all a lie. As the story plays out, I just found him to be a sweet puppy who needs the attention. (´ ▽｀).。ｏ♡ 

All the rumors around him of course are by the crazy and he is actually a dedicated lover who doesn't have a girlfriend. That face he makes when he wants the heroine's attention so cute. I'm glad this game grew on me minus the obvious drama between the crazies. Kitazawa was mentioned as an S at the end of his route but lol, I never saw him that way, he was more silently needy than pushy which made him really cute. I started Season 2 but stopped when I took a hiatus. When I pick up the games again I will write the full review for him. All his scenes are faded out though but you get the point when reading.

I believe aside from the Bidding for Love's storyline, this one grew to surprise me too. The story ended up more developed than I thought it would be. Arima looked like he was going to be playboy type but he wasn't. Far from it, he was serious and had a purpose. Revenge. His family situation was messed up and he was in for one thing, to complete his revenge for the ones he really cared about.

Arima chemistry with the heroine grew pretty quickly which caught me a bit by surprise but seeing how Arima never really felt "love" because all his ideals were revenge for a long time. Was pretty cute, if I got the normal ending I'd probably be stressed out because of all the things Arima did for the Heroine. It's like, BE TOGETHER ALREADY. So when I saw the happy ending my heart was all fluffy haha. (´∀｀)♡

I swear this is the game where the picture above is how I felt the whole time playing. So they never had Asena's route (theoneIwant) when I first played. (why you do this to me all the time?) so since I couldn't choose between the three. Based on the three princes, Tsundere's are pretty safe and sometimes cute. So I choose him but I never foresee myself placed in such a dilemma before haha... I should have saw it coming.

(*△*);; I'm sorry... I really am...

Cyril wasn't my type of Tsundere but I DIDN'T WANT to cheat on him with his father. (Not like heroine was really with Cyril yet either.) But Maynard kept coming and was super sweet even though between them there is a past. I felt bad that I have to be mean to him in order to get Cyril's route because being mutual I don't get points for either side. It was really bad, probably wouldn't have been so bad for the other pairs since obviously this one is father/son relationship ugh. Every time you are mean to Maynard he's still nice... Cyril just gets mad even if you choose his side. (ノдヽ)

He's too Tsuntsun and a bit childish for my liking so I caved even though it felt wrong... but talking about types Maynard is more my thing than the other guys. However their route really made me wish maybe I should've played Claude instead even though he's suppose to be more Ore type. (Even though when I played his extra birthday event event he was pretty sweet...??)

I'll be honest I haven't played much of this one yet to even give a small overview, the beginning was interesting. I should know more once I play more. But I haven't regret my choice yet~ Which is a good sign haha.

This one is the newest game from them. The story feels somewhat similar to Cinderella Contract with prince relationships but I haven't gotten far enough to give a good look at the story. But I have to say the gameplay for this, My Sweet Proposal and Cinderella Contract is very up to date and nice. Free log in bonus + mini games to keep the attention going for people who play. It's really nice and their avatar customization is always really cute.

 This one is also very new from Arithmetic~ It's like Alice in Wonderland smashed together with Fairy Tales. So far so good except well. You can continue below to see my reaction~

COMPARISON TO OLD -> NEW SYSTEM

  From Cinderella Contract but you get the idea. Both Okko and Arithmetic games are having similar upgrade systems with their new games vs. old.

I feel their games are getting better and better with their system. Noting their graphics are also gorgeous. I am looking forward to what else they plan to put out... I already feel like getting back into it after writing all of this up haha.

I just have a little bone to pick with them however.

Why is is EVERYTIME when I start your games there is always a route I want to play but he's not there? *insertwhine* ｡゜(｀Д´)゜｡

Ok. I'm done. Haha... but seriously I am loving OKKO / Arithmetic. Please come out with the other routes Asim and Leonhardt soon because both Asena / Sinbad took until I finished one route (which took a lot of days/month to finish.) by the end of that route I get so tired it's hard for me to do it again. But then again it might just be me haha.
